Gorgi is the home of gorgeous bed linen and homewares – proudly products carrying the Gorgi label are 100% NZ made, using only the best of materials.  Gorgi New Zealand is a NZ owned and operated company with a small dedicated team of individuals based in central Auckland, working alongside Gorgi Founder and Designer, Kirstin Bailey, based in Melbourne, Australia.

Kirstin’s emergence into the homewares industry began with the launch of the popular Kidsroom Brand in 2003.  She wanted to create a contemporary look that had personality yet did not speak nursery rhymes and cartoon characters - hence the birth of Kidsroom...'children's bedrooms for parents'. In six short years Kidsroom grew to be the one of the leading designer children's homewares brands in New Zealand. ‘Our customers loved our Kidsroom collections, they enjoyed the brand's simplicity and the fact that it transgressed seasonal fashion changes - they too however wanted designs that lasted, an inspired interior design look with simple changeout options' this was the emergence of an idea that is now the Gorgi Brand.

Julie and Gareth Jones joined the Gorgi family in 2011, taking on the Gorgi license for New Zealand. With a corporate background in Marketing to NZ small businesses, Julie deemed it critical for a brand to really understand where they fit in the market. The right business opportunity meant a strong position with points of difference that really set it apart. ‘As a Gorgi customer myself, I knew I had found a brand that not only had a loyal customer following, but one I knew I would have passion for. I was captured by the beautiful photography and inspiring décor - it was the look I wanted to create, without knowing it. The customer experience and quality of the product was faultless. And here we are. We promise to bring you more of what you love about Gorgi, and to stay true to the brand.’
