Natalie is a New Zealand born Bachelor of Design [First Class Honors] Graduate (2008) with a passion for Textile Design.While completing her degree Natalie interned with top New Zealand Fashion Designer Trelise Cooper. During this time her textile prints were produced to be included in the Winter 2009 ‘Trelise Cooper Collection’.
After graduating Natalie moved to Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to work as Embroidery & Embellishment Designer for The House of Arushi -Haute Couture. Following this she worked as Interior Stylist for THE One (Dubai, UAE) - a leading home fashion company. This provided great insight into the world of Interiors.
Natalie’s work has been shown at Wellington Art Galleries, New Zealand Fashion Week, Harrison’s Art Gallery Tauranga, in various NZ publications and the Massey University final year Exhibition in 2008. Her playful, abstract and quirky signature style has a bold and bright colour palette. This lends itself wonderfully to the world of children’s textile design - her true passion.
