'Recital' by Natalie Babbage: Art Block Series of 3 'Recital' by Natalie Babbage evokes every girl’s desire to dance as a ballerina. Her drawing depicts the poised style of the classical dance form. While working on Recital, Natalie observed dance classes in an Auckland studio, where the romanticism of ballet was balanced with the way the girls perfected their technique. Gorgi's 'Recital' Art Block Series shows each ballerina on a separate Art Block in full costume on pointe, the precision is evident through careful placement of the dancer’s limbs into just the right positions. Gorgi's 'Recital' Art Blocks are proudly manufactured in New Zealand, as with all Gorgi products. The block base is white powder-coated MDF. The image is printed on the highest quality printer available, with a gloss laminate, providing protection against fading and scratching. Not a canvas print or photographic print, this Art Block has a much more tactile feel and a high resolution to showcase the image's detail.    Art Blocks are designed to sit on a shelf, or hang on the wall. Each block has a small hole in the back, enabling it to be easily hung.
