If we could understand the squeaks and clicks of whale language, ‘Love us don’t hunt us’ would surely be the primitive sentiment. When Gorgi director Kirstin Bailey asked New Zealand Artist Penny Stotter to create a visual manifestation of this mantra, the idea was to produce a subtle take on an ecological theme – a cheeky kind of bedroom or lounge room activism.
In teaming up with Project Jonah, the range effectively puts its money where its mouth – or baleen filter – is, with $2 from each cushion sold going to help protect the very animals which inspired the idea.

This cushion features New Zealand's native 'Kereru' or 'Wood Pigeon' in a series of repeat prints. The cushion is manufactured using 100% black cotton drill and finished with a zip closure. It is filled with a 100% duck feather inner - a high quality inner that retains its gorgeous shape.
Cushions in this collection are sold in scatter size only and measure 50x 50cm.
