Gorgi Love Us Don't Hunt Us Wood Pigeons in White Ink on Black Drill

If we could understand the squeaks and clicks of whale language, ‘Love us don’t hunt us’ would surely be the primitive sentiment. When Gorgi director Kirstin Bailey asked New Zealand Artist Penny Stotter to create a visual manifestation of this mantra, the idea was to produce a subtle take on an ecological theme – a cheeky kind of bedroom or lounge room activism.

Robust, stylish and designed in neutral colours, the Love Us Don’t Hunt Us range is equally at home in both modern and traditional interiors. This cushion features New Zealand's native 'Kereru' or 'Wood Pigeon' in a series of repeat prints. The cushion is manufactured using 100% black cotton drill and finished with a zip closure.
